Hampdon Industrial stocks the premium range of Taurus Stick Electrodes. The ENi55 is a 55% Nickel electrode. The lower Nickel content makes this electrode more economical than 99Ni and easier to machine. It is often used for repairing castings with heavy or thick sections. When compared to Ni99i, welds made with 55 Ni are more ductile, and more tolerant of phosphorous in the casting. It also has a lower coefficient of expansion than Ni99, resulting in fewer fusion line cracks
