Solar Flux Type B is a fine powder chemical compound mixed with alcohol, designed to shield weld joints from oxygen, clean metal surfaces, aid filler metal flow, and prevent re-oxidation. Ideal for stainless steel (except 309, 310), precipitation hardening steels, chrome-moly steels, and alloy steels with <25% nickel content, it's a cost-effective alternative to gas purging, producing X-Ray quality joints.
