1.6mm Standard TIG Torch Wedge Collets – Suits WP17 | 18 | 26 Torches

Precision angled wedge cut collets are the latest in TIG torch technology, they outlast and outperform outdated split collets by at least x10. Split cut collets are prone to warping and twisting as the collet itself gets hot and cold points due to it having a split down the middle. Wedge collets eliminate this issue by utilizing the wedge grip technology, allowing for the entire collet to be uniform and grip the tungsten right at the top of the collet against the collet body. This design has many benefits that aid the entire TIG welding process whilst also minimizing damage and wear to the TIG torch components.
