This Nitrogen / Argon Purge Kit with Hose and Brass Adaptors enables for a quick, easy positive seal for a variety of pipe dimensions. When welding or repairing refrigeration or air conditioning piping, the internal area of the pipe should be purged with an inert gas to prevent oxidation around the internal joint during the brazing/welding process. A positive seal for the inert gas purge process reduces the amount of gas used and limits any ingress of air during the process
